Sometimes, the more you learn, the less you know. I read my first camera manual from cover to cover, and I'd even carry it with me whenever I was out taking photos (so I could refer to it).  It was a great way to learn how to use my camera, but sometimes it did more harm than good.  Ever heard the expression 'A little knowledge is a dangerous thing'...?
